I am very excited to have the opportunity to represent the club as your President through the 2024/2025 season. The upcoming year will be an opportunity to maintain and improve on the tremendous momentum that we experienced in the past year, and I look forward to working with the new executive to achieve that.

I joined Southern Lights 30 years ago to overcome my fears of public speaking, but found a strong connection with the other members on both a professional and personal level. Where else can you find a group of people with such a positive outlook, and a common goal for self improvement?

 

​Southern Lights has always taken pride in providing quality, engaging meetings, and strives to maintain a high level of professionalism. We are extremely fortunate to have a diverse mix of experienced and newer members, with valued mentorship from the seasoned members.

 

Whether you’re a novice speaker simply looking to move beyond your fears of public speaking, or an advanced orator preparing to launch your career as a professional speaker, you will find the support, mentorship, and talent within our club to help you succeed in your own personal and professional journey.​
